Tracy LaMarr earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from WSU Tri Cities while working for a few top residential building contractors in the area, beginning at age 18 in the industry. The daughter of a local wheat farmer, she understood the importance of a strong work ethic and perseverance. Tracy quickly became an integral part of the building teams and began to form her own vision of a more user friendly approach to custom home construction.
After many months of saving and with the purchase of a single lot in Canyon Lakes, Tracy started StoneCrest Builders, Inc. in 1999. Tracy personally designed that first spec home herself and sold it before the lumber package was delivered. Her sense for what was around the corner in home design was groundbreaking in our area, and her attention to detail in fit, finish, and function helped her to create a new standard for our market.
Tracy was the first builder in Washington State to become a Graduate Master Builder (NAHB) and her belief in constant and never ending improvement remains the driving force behind StoneCrest Builders today. She is very involved on the National Level actively participating in Builders 20 programs for many years and on the local level supporting many community education programs.
Tracy has created an all-star team and a culture of wanting to be the best at StoneCrest Builders that continues to bear itself out in a quality product and satisfied customers.
