We’ve been in our StoneCrest custom built home about 6 months now. We are happy with the home and glad we went with StoneCrest. Here are some of the things I like about StoneCrest. • First, they were willing to build the house I designed, and people, I am not an architect. (Some builders wouldn’t do custom.) • StoneCrest is local, which means easy to meet with and get timely responses. (One builder’s representative kept needing to contact their westside office for approval.) • They’re willing to take on special challenges, such as the suspended bar stools I insisted on, custom great room cabinets, only LED lighting throughout and a unique second pantry. • The StoneCrest Design Center provided a wealth of ideas and saved us a bunch of time by not needing to run all over town making selections. • I was permitted to talk directly with subcontractors, many of whom have fantastic ideas and suggestions on making the house even better -- “pick their brains”, so to speak. • We had a contract and they delivered to the price and on time other than one understandable delay due to miserable weather. • Another topic we spent time on is answering the question, “what do we want from our home in the long term?” I’m a senior, so for me ‘aging in place’ is a big deal. Tracy, Steve, and Nikki provided numerous suggestions we incorporated that, should the need arrive, I know I’ll appreciate. For anyone who wants to know, “Yes” I recommend StoneCrest. Indeed, I have recommended StoneCrest on many occasions. And “Yes,” if I had it to do over, I would go with StoneCrest again.

Stonecrest delivered our new home on budget and sooner than the scheduled completion date. We worked directly with Stonecrest staff and their subcontractors almost on a daily basis to ensure the project went as smoothly as possible and with few difficulties. We ended up with a great new home that we're very happy with. The people we worked with were friendly and tried their best to be responsive to our needs. Compared to other home builders in the area, we had few issues and were able to make simple changes without difficulty.

StoneCrest was our builder and we are very happy with the quality of the home and their customer service. The subcontractors are among the best available in the TriCities. We know several other families personally that hired StoneCrest both before and after our home was finished and have only heard positive feedback. Many of the top realtors in the area would have no problem recommending StoneCrest. The other negative reviews on here do not sound reasonable. Ask Steve or Tracy for customer references if you want the truth.

We moved in a week ago and are very pleased. The house certainly met our expectations and they kept within our price. We moved in about 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Really know what you want, then specify ALL the details that are must have items. They do have lots of subcontractors working, you should visit very often. If something doesn't look right talk to the stonecrest supervisor. Update: 60+ days after move in we completed a warranty items list. They got right on it and completed them with no haggling. We are still very happy with our home.
